Inclusive engagement in action: From HR‑driven to “we own this together” at Mölnlycke

Chiara Zanchetta, My Pousette from Mölnlycke & Diana Bond from Eletive

18-2

In this session, Eletive’s Diana is joined by Mölnlycke to explore how the organisation has significantly strengthened its engagement approach in recent years, creating a more inclusive,  participatory, and empowering way of working that is reflected in their exceptional 94% engagement survey participation rate over the past two years.

Mölnlycke has moved from a more traditional, HR driven survey model to an engagement approach where leaders, teams, and individuals all take an active role. Guided by their EVP; We own this together, We take care of each other, We know exactly why, engagement now happens through shared responsibility, transparency, and continuous dialogue.

Leaders and teams interpret insights together, supported by open access to results and actionable guidance within the platform. While technology and AI help surface trends and highlight focus areas, the core of Mölnlycke’s progress comes from human connection, meaningful conversations, care for each other, and collaboration across levels.

A central part of their evolution has been shifting from large, infrequent initiatives to intentional and team-anchored actions that build trust and drive steady improvement. Sometimes maintaining and deepening existing actions is more powerful than starting new ones. Employees are also empowered to explore their own engagement patterns for the first time,  strengthening self-leadership and personal reflection.

Join this session to learn how Mölnlycke combines inclusive engagement, shared ownership, and a thoughtful balance of technology and humanity to ensure people feel listened to, valued,  and empowered to act, driving sustainable engagement and consistently high participation along the way.
